My father, born near Parma, Italy and a natural Italian Fantasista, taught me something very different when I was young:
“You know where your foot is. You’ve already seen the ball.
The most important thing is to look at where you want it to go.
Focus on the target.”
That single idea sparked a lifelong curiosity:

For years the concept sat quietly in the background… until the Covid lockdowns.
My daughter and her partner, an ex-Premier League footballer, came to stay. With time on our hands, we tested early prototypes, exploring how much coordination, ambipedal balance, timing, and decision-making could be improved. The results were astonishing. Every day we pushed into new territory, all captured on camera by my daughter.
Then came the breakthrough.
We asked my daughter—who had never kicked a ball before—to try the prototype.
